Developed specifically to extract maximum performance from low-drag hydrofoils, the Skyblade’s design objectives are straightforward: top speed and total control in flight.

Radically high aspect ratios and wide mast pockets combine to create a rig that feels balanced and predictable in flight. For 2026, refinements across nearly every detail elevate this platform even further. Re-scheduled luff curves and slight batten angle re-orientation improve balance and lower the sail’s centers of effort and weight, while a lower foot with a shorter foot batten adds more efficient aerodynamics and control when fully powered.

At the center of the sail’s stability are the Skyblade’s carefully tuned carbon battens, which create a clean, light, locked-in profile with minimal drag. The new TekCam 3 camber system is 30% lighter and accommodates higher batten angles and ensures smooth, precise rotation. This reliable rotation is essential for maintaining focus during races and allows confident gybes and transitions without compromise.

The Skyblade’s mast pocket combines multiple laminate and woven panels in a double-layer stretch-resistant zone, built with 2-mil quad-axial X-Ply and IYU250 woven material. This integrated two-ply tendon extends from head to tack behind the mast, helping the pocket maintain optimal shape over time. A new 50mm triple-sewn mast sleeve seam further improves resistance to wear, season after season.

The addition of dual Kevlar 5.0 mil laminate clew radials stabilizes the sail under load and distributes forces evenly for reliable drive and forward pull.

To withstand the rigors of high tension and extreme loads, all camber inducer contact points are equipped with Metallic Cam Interfaces, preventing material degradation and ensuring consistent performance.

The Skyblade is constructed to deliver unmatched durability in competitive conditions. Reinforcements across the central window, leech, and foot feature X-Ply laminates, while bi-ply upper body panels provide outstanding UV resistance and catastrophic failure prevention. New 5mil X-ply laminate foot panels further enhance strength in critical wear zones.

Finished in a clean, functional minimalism graphic, the design sheds excess marker cloth and scrim to reduce swing weight and keep the center of weight lower.
