The Loft Sails Switchblade HD 2026 takes the proven freerace performance of the original Switchblade and enhances it with a rugged HD build for maximum strength and endurance. Designed for sailors who push their gear hard, it blends race-level speed and stability with the toughness required for long-term, high-intensity use.
Carrying the DNA of the Racingblade, this 3-cam design offers smooth acceleration, stable power, and effortless control. A higher aspect ratio and shorter boom deliver a lighter, more balanced feel, while refined luff curves, re-angled battens, and a slightly lower foot improve aerodynamic efficiency, balance, and responsiveness in all wind conditions.
The TekCam 3 system, now 30% lighter, provides seamless cam rotation and minimal drag. Tubed battens keep the sail’s profile solid and stable even when fully powered. The HD construction features full reinforced X-Ply laminate, 5mil foot panels, and Kevlar-reinforced clew details, ensuring exceptional resistance to wear, stretch, and impact.
A triple-stitched mast sleeve boosts durability, while the minimalist 2026 graphics reduce swing weight and lower the sail’s center of gravity. The result is a freerace sail that combines elite performance with race-level toughness – built to deliver power, speed, and longevity season after season.
